On November 10, 2022, astute investors from around the world came together in Dubai at Jumeirah Beach Hotel for Secret Bay’s annual partner and shareholder summit. GEMS chairman Gregor Nassief was in attendance, as was Dominica’s Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Honourable Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit, remotely via video.

Reinforcing its claim of being the global gold standard in Citizenship by Investment (CBI) projects, Dominica’s crown jewel development, and only six-star, all-villa resort, The Residences presented the results of its investor survey.

The survey was shared on the heels of Secret Bay releasing year-over-year results between the fourth quarter of 2019 through the second quarter of 2022, paying out $1 Million USD in returns to investors and publishing its compliance statement with respect to Dominica’s CBI laws regarding the real estate path to second citizenship.

The public presentation of the investor survey and the compliance statement introduce a never before seen level of transparency in the CBI marketplace and not only confirms that Secret Bay is operating within all legal boundaries but also prove that they are doing so in a way that investors are satisfied with.

The Investor Survey covered all aspects of owning at Secret Bay, including satisfaction when it comes to Secret Bay’s communication, shareholder experience, and the value of the Dominica passport. Shareholders also provided their satisfaction levels as it relates to their return on investment (ROI) and degree of interest in holding onto one’s investment after the necessary holding period. Also, investors answered questions related to interest in whole ownership of the award-winning resort real estate opportunities and if they would refer Secret Bay as a qualifying investment for citizenship to friends and family.

Among the findings, the investor survey revealed the below. If interested in receiving the full survey results, email cbi@secretbay.dm.

  • 87.5% of Investors Report Receiving ROI, with 81.3% Confirming Satisfaction
  • 75% of Investors Plan to Spend a Week at Secret Bay or a Stay via THIRDHOME and 62.5% Interested in Learning More about Whole Ownership
  • 93.8% of Investors Express Interest in Retaining Shares after the Holding Period, Though Will Consider Reasonable Offers
  • 90.7% of Investors Would Recommend Secret Bay as a Qualifying Investment for Citizenship to Friends & Family
  • 94+% of Investors Confirm Overall Satisfaction When it Comes to Secret Bay’s Communication, Shareholder Experience and Value of the Dominica passport.

“We are proud of the results of the shareholder survey,’” said Gregor Nassief, proprietor of Secret Bay and The Residences at Secret Bay and CEO of GEMS Holdings Limited. “With 94% of our shareholders expressing satisfaction and 93.8% stating their interest in retaining shares beyond the holding period, we believe we are on the right track. Our ongoing commitment to our investors’ satisfaction is proof that we’re doing a lot right.”
