5 Luxury Homes Where It’s Still Summer in November, Residency Attached

A cliffside villa in Mauritius, a lagoon house in Dubai, and Thai pool villas on Phuket: five homes for the months the rest of the world spends indoors.

By November, most of the northern hemisphere has summer firmly in the rearview mirror: the terraces stacked, the pools covered, the coats back out.

Elsewhere, November is when things get better. Phuket’s rains stop and its high season begins, the Gulf finally cools enough to eat outside, and in Mauritius the summer is only getting started.

The five homes below sit in those places, and each opens a route to residency in the country it stands in. The winter escape stops being a trip and becomes an address, and the season ends when you decide, not when the tourist visa does.

They span two hemispheres and four seas, from a Red Sea tower in Jeddah to a cliffside villa in Mauritius, from least expensive to most.

1. A Red Sea Tower in Jeddah

Jeddah’s old nickname is the Bride of the Red Sea, and November is when it earns it. The summer heat breaks, the corniche fills up after dark, and the water stays warm enough to swim. The waterfront has also become where the Kingdom’s hotel money lands, with Four Seasons, Raffles, and Rosewood all close by.

Trump Tower Jeddah will rise 47 floors above that shoreline, with Red Sea views and a private members’ club at its center. It completes at the end of 2029. Two-bedroom apartments start at $875,100, but Saudi Arabia’s residency route needs a finished home worth $1.1 million or more, so the permit belongs to the larger units and penthouses once the tower is built.

  • Location: Jeddah waterfront, Saudi Arabia
  • Size: 140 m², two bedrooms, three bathrooms
  • Price: From $875,100
  • Completion: Q4 2029
  • Comes with: Residency, on completed units above $1.1 million
  • Program: Saudi Arabia Premium Residency

2. A Cliffside Villa in Mauritius

Tamarin sits on Mauritius’s west coast, the drier, sunnier side of the island, with a surf break in the bay, old salt pans behind the village, and spinner dolphins offshore in the mornings. November is when summer arrives here.

This villa is built on stilts into the cliffside, with a 100-square-meter terrace hanging over the slope and an infinity pool looking across the bay. There are three en-suite bedrooms, or two and a study, an open-plan living room, and interiors furnished by local craftsmen. At $1.01 million, it is finished and ready.

  • Location: Tamarin, west coast, Mauritius
  • Size: 200 m² on a 300 m² plot, three bedrooms, three bathrooms
  • Price: $1,010,000
  • Completion: Completed
  • Comes with: Permanent residency
  • Program: Mauritius Permanent Residency

3. A Lagoon Villa in Dubai

Dubai spends summer indoors and winter outside, and November is when the city reopens: terraces, beach clubs, and the short season when 30°C counts as mild. DAMAC Islands is the developer’s answer for people who want the resort without the flight, a community of villas built around lagoons and private beaches.

This five-bedroom villa sits on the water, with six bathrooms, 263 square meters, and a terrace over a palm-lined promenade. It is due between 2028 and 2029, with a payment plan in the meantime, and at $1.05 million it clears the Golden Visa threshold almost twice over.

  • Location: DAMAC Islands, Dubai, UAE
  • Size: 263 m², five bedrooms, six bathrooms
  • Price: $1,050,000
  • Completion: 2028 to 2029
  • Comes with: 10-year residency
  • Program: UAE Golden Visa

4. Thai Pool Villas in Phuket

Phuket’s west coast gets the postcards. The east coast gets Phang Nga Bay, the field of limestone islands where The Man with the Golden Gun was filmed, and a good deal more quiet. November is when the rains end and the island’s high season begins, and the shore around Ao Po is where long-stay residents go to avoid what comes with it.

These villas near Ao Po Grand Marina are built in traditional Thai style, low and spread out, each with four or five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and its own pool. They are pre-selling from $2,240,055, with international schools and the airport within easy reach.

  • Location: Pa Klok, near Ao Po Grand Marina, Phuket, Thailand
  • Size: Four to five bedrooms, six bathrooms
  • Price: From $2,240,055
  • Completion: Under construction
  • Comes with: 10-year residency, for buyers with $1 million in global assets
  • Program: Thailand Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa

5. A Gulf-View Apartment in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah is where Dubai goes for the weekend: an hour up the coast, mountains behind the beaches, and a pace from another decade. That pace is about to change. Wynn Al Marjan Island, the Gulf’s first integrated casino resort, is going up just offshore.

This apartment sits on the 15th floor with views across the Gulf, the golf courses, and the Hajar Mountains. It has three bedrooms, five bathrooms, 309 square meters, floor-to-ceiling glass, and a building with a private cinema, a wine cellar, a cigar lounge, and a rooftop terrace. At $5.25 million it is the most expensive home on the list, and it completes in 2027.

  • Location: Al Hamra Village, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
  • Size: 309 m², three bedrooms, five bathrooms
  • Price: $5,250,000
  • Completion: 2027
  • Comes with: 10-year residency
  • Program: UAE Golden Visa
