Investors qualify for renewable residence permits with durations ranging from 3 to 8 years, depending on investment size. The program requires investors to retain their capital within Nigeria throughout the permit validity period.

How to Qualify

To qualify for the Nigeria Investor Visas (N3), applicants may apply under one of the following categories:

Small Scale Enterprise (N3A)

  • Investment required: US$250,000 to US$500,000
  • Residence permit: 3-year multiple-entry

Medium Scale Enterprise (N3B)

  • Investment required: US$500,000 to US$1 million
  • Residence permit: 4-year multiple-entry

Large Scale Enterprise (N3C)

  • Investment required: US$1,000,000 to US$10 million
  • Residence permit: 6-year multiple-entry, requires previous or current F4B or F4C entry visa

Ultra Large Scale Enterprise (N3D)

  • Investment required: US$10 million or more
  • Residence permit: 8-year multiple-entry, requires previous or current F4B or F4C entry visa

Citizenship Timeline and Requirements

Investor residence permits are issued for 3 years (N3A), 4 years (N3B), 6 years (N3C), or 8 years (N3D), depending on investment category, and can be renewed indefinitely as long as the investment is maintained.

After meeting the 15-year continuous residence requirement in Nigeria, an investor may apply for citizenship through naturalization.

To obtain citizenship, the applicant must demonstrate good character and show the ability to contribute to Nigeria’s well-being.

All investment capital must be retained in Nigeria throughout the residence permit period.
