Dr. Jean-Philippe Chetcuti is a client lawyer specialising in facilitating international investment, in global citizenship & residency programmes, international tax, wealth/business structuring for high net worth individuals & business families.
In view of his role as key advisor to business families, he was a prominent driver behind the enactment of the Family Business Act in Maltese law and co-founded the Malta Association of Family Enterprises.
Dr Chetcuti is recognised by Who’s Who Legal for Malta.

– Accredited with the first round of licencing of Cypriot Investment Programme Service Provider Licence CIP 046 and CIP 477 (now closed).
– Licensed Accredited Agent for the Moldova Citizenship by Investment Programme, under Government licence AA/06/2019 (now closed).
– First to be promoted from ‘Accredited Person’ to ‘Approved Agent’, in recognition of the firm’s track record of quality and success in handling Malta citizenship applications, under the original IIP.
– Licensed as International Marketing Agent for the St Kitts & Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme.
– Authorised Representative for the Antigua & Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Programme.
Chetcuti’s correct explanations were “in vain, as the journalists nevertheless imply the opposite in voice-over in the broadcast.”
The French court found the two media executives guilty of criminal defamation and imposed a fine and moral damages in favor of Chetcuti.
