How to Qualify

To qualify for the Belarus Investor Residence Permit, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Meet the minimum investment threshold: Applicants must invest at least 15,000 basic units (approximately US$200,000) in Belarus using methods permitted by the legislative acts of the Republic of Belarus. Investment options include creating a commercial organization, acquiring intellectual property rights, or participating in public-private partnerships.
  • Submit appropriate documentation: Applicants must provide comprehensive documents such as proof of investment, a valid passport, a medical certificate, and evidence of a clean criminal record.
  • Demonstrate compliance with Belarusian laws: All investments must be made in compliance with Belarusian legal requirements, and applicants must ensure that their documentation is notarized and translated into Belarusian or Russian as necessary.
  • Undergo a residency application review: Applications are reviewed by the Citizenship and Migration Department, which evaluates the validity of investments and the absence of any disqualifying factors.
