
Uzbekistan Introduces New 5-Year Donation-Based Golden Visa
The new program, which will require a donation starting at $250,000, will come into effect on June 1, 2025.
The Uzbekistan Investor Visa program provides foreign investors an opportunity to secure long-term residency in the country through qualifying investments.
By donating US$250,000, or investing an amount ranging from US$250,000 (as of 2024) to US$3 million, foreigners can gain access to renewable residence permits with validity periods ranging from 3 to 10 years.
To qualify for the Uzbekistan Investment Visa Program, applicants must meet one of the following investment requirements:
The Uzbek Investor Visa does not offer a direct route to citizenship. However, foreigners who reside in Uzbekistan permanently for at least five years, demonstrate proficiency in the Uzbek language, and are prepared to renounce all other nationalities, may qualify to apply for Uzbek citizenship.

Applications for this program may be directed to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan through Uzbek diplomatic missions or consular posts abroad.
