Latitude Group has announced the addition of Vertex Alliance to its global advisory platform, marking a significant step in the firm’s strategic expansion and further strengthening its Malta-based capabilities.

The move more accurately reflects a deliberate joining of forces in the alignment of complementary expertise, shared values, and a long-term vision for clients, partners, and institutions.

Vertex Alliance and its team have joined the Latitude Group and are aligning their advisory operations under a shared strategic framework, with regulated services continuing to operate through their existing licensed entities pending regulatory approvals.

Responding to a More Complex Advisory Environment

The integration reflects a broader shift taking place across the investment migration and global mobility sector. Client needs are becoming more complex, more sensitive, and more long-term in nature. Increasingly, internationally mobile individuals, entrepreneurs, and exceptional talent are seeking advisory relationships that extend well beyond the execution of a residency or citizenship pathway.

At the same time, jurisdictions such as Malta are evolving their frameworks, particularly through initiatives linked to citizenship by merit and national-interest projects. These routes are not program-based – they require deeper advisory involvement, senior oversight, and coordination across multiple disciplines, including structuring, compliance, institutional engagement, and long-term planning.

Against this backdrop, Latitude’s expanded platform is positioned to deliver fully integrated, senior-led advisory support rather than program-led or transactional services.

An Expanded, Fully Integrated Advisory Platform

With the addition of expertise from Vertex Alliance, Latitude now offers a broader in-house advisory ecosystem. This expansion is being implemented in accordance with applicable regulatory and licensing requirements, with certain services remaining subject to regulatory approval.

Beyond residency and citizenship planning, services span international and cross-border tax structuring, property and business advisory, doing business in Malta, lifestyle, education, and family support.

This integrated model is designed to ensure consistency, discretion, and accountability, which are qualities that are increasingly critical for clients navigating multi-jurisdictional planning, long-term relocation strategies, or contribution-led engagement with governments.

Eric Major, Group CEO of Latitude, commented that the move reinforces the firm’s long-term vision.

“By having Vertex join the Latitude Group, we are strengthening our advisory depth and reinforcing our ambition to be a trusted, independent platform for clients, partners, and institutions who value experience, discretion, and execution over scale.”

Strengthening Malta’s Role as an Advisory Hub

The integration also underscores Malta’s growing importance as a strategic advisory hub. As the country positions itself to attract foreign talent, entrepreneurs, and individuals of exceptional merit, advisory work increasingly demands institutional-level coordination and execution.

Latitude’s expanded Malta-based platform is designed to meet these requirements, subject to the completion of relevant regulatory processes.

While Latitude has developed a strong direct-to-client business internationally, Vertex Alliance has cultivated deep relationships with professional firms and institutional partners, particularly across Asia, India, and the Middle East.

Together, these complementary channels enhance Latitude’s ability to serve both private clients and intermediary partners with greater depth and consistency.

Leadership and Institutional Strengthening

As part of the integration, Kenneth Camilleri has also joined Latitude Group’s Board and senior leadership team as Chief Strategic Partnerships. His appointment strengthens the Group’s institutional relationships and long-term partner strategy.

Commenting on the development, Mr Camilleri noted the alignment in philosophy between the two organizations.

“What attracted me to Latitude is the shared belief that advisory excellence comes from people, relationships, and long-term thinking. Our clients and partners now benefit from a broader, deeper advisory platform under one roof.”

Latitude has confirmed that the integration process is underway, with clients and partners being advised through a coordinated platform, while regulated activities continue under existing licenses pending approval.

Growth Without a Scale-First Mentality

Latitude’s leadership has been clear that the expansion is not driven by growth for its own sake. Instead, the focus remains on depth of expertise, quality of execution, and long-term relationships.

“When we ask clients why they choose to work with Latitude, the answer is rarely about size. They are not looking for the largest firm with the most offices or headcount. They want a nimble, boutique, senior-led organization where advice is personal, execution is precise, and access to senior leadership is direct,” revealed Ryan Darmanin, Group COO at Latitude.

“Our clients expect a high-touch experience delivered by experienced advisors who understand the full complexity of their situation. That expectation shapes how we grow, how we structure the firm, and how we serve clients every day.”

As such, Latitude has consistently positioned itself not as the largest player in the sector, but as one of the most experienced and trusted – a position that resonates with governments, institutional partners, and sophisticated private clients alike.

As global mobility frameworks continue to evolve, advisory platforms with deep institutional experience and integrated execution capabilities are likely to play an increasingly central role.

Latitude’s expanded platform reflects this shift, positioning the firm to support clients, partners, and governments navigating a more complex and selective global landscape.
