Belgrade Family Office: A Gateway to Serbian Residency and Investment
Belgrade Family Office: Because sometimes the smartest move in European finance and wealth management is just outside the EU
The Serbia Investor Visa allows foreign nationals to obtain long-term residency in Serbia by making a qualifying investment in a registered Serbian company. To qualify, applicants must invest a minimum of €50,000 (or the equivalent in dinars or other currencies) and provide proof of funds and assets. The program offers a clear route to permanent residency after three years and citizenship after six years.
Serbia has been a candidate for EU membership since 2009, and its citizens enjoy visa-free travel to the Schengen area.
To qualify for the Serbia Investor Visa, applicants must meet the following requirements:
To qualify for Serbian permanent residence, applicants must have legally resided in Serbia for at least three continuous years. This period may be reduced in certain cases, such as marriage to a Serbian citizen, which requires only one year of marriage and residence in Serbia.
After holding permanent residence for three years, investors become eligible to apply for Serbian citizenship. Applicants must demonstrate integration into Serbian society, including a basic understanding of the Serbian language and culture.
Additionally, they must provide proof of a clean criminal record and demonstrate stable income or sufficient financial means to support themselves. Finally, applicants are required to take an oath of loyalty to the Republic of Serbia.

Belgrade Family Office: Because sometimes the smartest move in European finance and wealth management is just outside the EU

The government of Serbia, an EU candidate, wants to give immigrants and refugees citizenship after just a year of living in the country.

Ever-closer trading ties between the two countries, coupled with inexpensive routes to residence permits, are driving a massive influx.
