São Tomé puts its foot down on price undercutting, revoking an agent’s license fewer than five months after launching its CBI program.
São Tomé and Príncipe, a small island nation in West Africa, offers a straightforward, direct citizenship program. Applicants can secure citizenship in six weeks with a minimum investment or donation US$90,000.
The program does not require residency, interviews, or physical presence, allowing participants to complete the process remotely.
To qualify for this program, applicants must either make a non-refundable financial contribution to the National Transformation Fund (FNT) or invest in eligible public or national development projects.

After the Citizenship Investment Unit reviews the application and grants Approval in Principle, applicants can proceed through one of two routes:
