The Honduras Investor Visa Program offers foreign investors an opportunity to secure residency in Honduras investing a minimum of US$50,000 in a registered local business.
Investors gain access to temporary, indefinitely renewable, residence permit, with a path to permanent residence permits within 5 years, and a path to citizenship within three years of continuous residency.

Application Process
Complete and submit the application to the National Institute of Migration of Honduras or a Honduran consulate, along with all supporting documents and applicable fees.
Dependents
Applicants can include a spouse and dependent children under 18 (or financially dependent older children) by providing evidence of the relationship and financial support.
Upon making an approved qualifying investment, applicants get a renewable temporary residence permit with no minimum stay requirements – qualifying them for permanent residency within five years should they continue to meet the program’s requirements.
To qualify for citizenship, however, they need to continuously live in the country for at least three years, and demonstrate good knowledge of Honduran civics and Spanish language.
