The programme has contributed significantly to the growth of Grenada’s economy and continues to receive heightened international recognition. The inward investment it promotes has led to the creation of sustainable long-term employment, specialist training, and the general broadening of skills for numerous Grenadians.

JOB SUMMARY: The Accounts Officer contributes to the financial management best-practices and service delivery of the CBI Unit by performing a variety of accounting tasks, while maintaining the financial and accounting records and control systems, in accordance with the public Financial Management Act (Act 27 of 2007).

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Experience: At least 3 years experience in accounting with exposure to various accounting tasks and procedures.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FIA (CAT) certified.

Technology: Competence and experience in using a range of software including MS Office suite, QuickBooks, and Adobe.

Competencies: Includes but not limited to; general accounting practices and procedures, data entry, accounts receivable monitoring and collection, processing of accounts payable, inventory management, bank reconciliation, interpretation of financial information, financial reporting.
