WHERE ARE WE GOING?

THE NIGHT BEFORE

May 18th

Get-together for drinks and a bite at

OKA’s at The Villa is located within the historic building of The Villa – an imposing 19th-century palazzo.

If you’re in town the night before, meet us here for a drink or two and a bite to eat.

THE MAIN DAY

May 19th

Discussions, lunch, and coffee at

Malta Maritime Museum

St-Angelo-Hall-Malta-Maritime-Museum-6

Our main venue for talks and discussions, lunch, and coffee breaks this time is the Malta Maritime Museum.

Sunset Cruise

along Malta's historic waterfront

hera-cruises-23097

After a day of professional content, we’ll set sail for a 90-minute sunset cruise around the Three Cities harbor areas.

Dinner and IM Trivia Contest at

Magazino Hall

We’ll disembark for dinner and our customary IM Trivia Contest at Magazino Hall, built in 1727 and situated beneath Valetta’s famous bastions.

THE MORNING AFTER

May 20th

Brunch at the Royal Malta Yacht Club's restaurant

Meet us for an al fresco brunch with coffee and tea in the sun at Port 21 in the Ta’ Xbiex area. Bid your friends from IMI Connect farewell until the next meetup.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We recommend smart casual, so you can safely leave your tie or your heels at home. Temperatures in Malta during the middle of  May historically average 25-28°C, so you’re not likely to need a jacket until after sunset, if at all.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

Most of our guests will be staying at the Hilton in Saint Julian’s, where we have obtained preferential rates. Book rooms with our special rate via this link. If you have any questions or if you’d like to extend or otherwise customize your stay, please contact our event organizer Claudia Cassar via claudia@mimalta.com

WHO'S COMING?

IMI Connect is a for-the-industry, by-the-industry event. You’ll meet IMI contributors, partners, and readers like yourself. They come to talk frankly and off-the-cuff about the challenges and opportunities facing RCBI professionals, not to make dull and repetitive presentations about particular projects. Speakers and panelists will be selected based on their relevant expertise, not based on sponsorship alone.
