With over 10 years’ experience working in European wealth management firms and family offices, Alex has a significant level of expertise in cross-border financial planning, investment management, and macroeconomic analysis. He enjoys speaking with our clients and explaining our investment philosophy while also helping them understand the implications of various geopolitical events on their portfolios. 

Alex graduated with distinction from Grenoble Ecole de Management with a Master’s degree in International Business after initially completing a Bachelor’s degree in English at Simon Fraser University. Additionally, he is well qualified in investment analysis and financial planning, holding the Chartered Wealth Manager qualification and Investment Advice Diploma from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment in the UK. 

In addition to his work with our Investment Committee, Alex also serves as an advisor for our US connected or US based clients. He holds both the Series 65 and the Washington state life insurance producer licenses. With Alex’s experience as a US citizen who has lived in Europe for several years, he is uniquely positioned to advise American clients on how to overcome the financial challenges of living abroad. Alex specializes in creating sophisticated financial plans for American clients, taking into account their multi-jurisdictional tax liabilities and specific investment management needs. 

Originally from the West Coast of the United States, Alex has lived and worked in several countries including Canada, the UK, Malta, France, and Italy. When not working, he spends his time with his wife and two boys or catching up on the many books he aspires to read.
